“We are absolutely delighted to have joined with the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) and look forward to working with so many exceptional individuals, employers and educational experts.

At SCL Education, we are a national provider of high-quality education and training services within the following provision types:

  • 16 to 19 Study Programmes
  • Adult Skills
  • Apprenticeships
  • High Needs
  • Commercial and Corporate CPD/Training
  • Commercial Services (such as After School Clubs and Holiday Club Services)

Through the work we have already delivered to the young people, adults and apprentices of Greater Manchester (GM) within our SCL sport and creative education hubs or through our employer responsive apprenticeships, we continue to be inspired by the communities, residents and employers of GM.

This has increased our motivation further to continue to make a real difference to the lives and futures of the young people and adults within GM as well as support the development of many GM employers current or future workforce.

The opportunities to work with the GMLPN to continue to understand the demands of the GM learner and employer communities in relation to their education gaps, skill needs, challenges and individual learning preferences is really exciting.

We are proud that through the uniqueness of the ‘SCL Way’, we continue to provide young people, adults and apprentices access to high quality education and training within our safe, nurturing learning environments as well as benefit from our expert specialism in using enrichment as a way to add value to their behaviours, attitudes and independence.  In addition, our Mentoring and ID passport programme continues to be one of our key enablers to successful outcomes.  Through our unique delivery we are able to truly transform attitudes and behaviours, inject confidence and install a can-do attitude.

Simply, we just want to make a real difference in GM and to all relevant stakeholders.”
