Pupil Pathways, UK-based digital platform designed to support schools, local authorities, and multi-academy trusts (MATs) in enhancing pupil transitions and inclusion, has joined GMLPN.

Pupil Pathways services focus on facilitating effective collaboration among education professionals to ensure personalised support for every pupil.

One of their key tools, SixIntoSeven, streamlines the transition for pupils from primary to secondary school by enabling consistent and comprehensive data sharing. It ensures that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), vulnerable or at risk, begin secondary education with planned required support. The platform enables the receiving schools to plan targeted intervention and provision based on early information provided.

SixIntoSeven allows schools, MATs and local authorities to transfer the data and information on learners to support their needs and priorities through a single GDPR-complaint web-based system.

Pupil Pathways are now looking to develop a similar platform for the post-16 education sector and are working closely with GMLPN and their members to develop this.

Chloe Ramsden, Partnership Manager at GMLPN said:

“We are very pleased to have Pupil Pathways join the Network. Their innovative digital solutions, particularly in supporting pupil transitions and enhancing inclusion, align strongly with our mission to drive collaboration and best practice across the Greater Manchester education and skills sector.

By providing tools such as SixIntoSeven and Foresight, Pupil Pathways empowers schools, local authorities, and education providers to share information securely, identify needs early, and ensure that every learner receives the support they require to succeed. We look forward to working together to strengthen outcomes for young people across the region and foster a more connected, inclusive education ecosystem.”

Brendan Nel, Founder CEO at Pupil Pathways said:

“At Pupil Pathways, we believe that no pupil should be left behind because of missed or delayed information. Our mission is to bridge the gaps between education settings, ensuring that transitions, from early years into primary, through to secondary, and on into post-16 education are informed, coordinated, and inclusive. Tools like SixIntoSeven are already helping schools and local authorities prepare early interventions for pupils who need it most. We are excited to be working with GMLPN and its members to expand this approach to the post-16 sector, ensuring young people are supported at every stage of their educational journey.”
