Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is one of the largest police forces in the UK, serving and protecting over 2.8 million people across the region. With a strong focus on community engagement, professionalism, and continuous learning, GMP plays a vital role in keeping people safe but also in supporting education, training, and development opportunities for those who serve and for the wider community.
Chloe Ramsden, Partnership Manager at GMLPN said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Greater Manchester Police as a new member of the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network. GMP brings a unique perspective to the network, combining their passion for education with their role as one of the UK’s largest police forces. Through their training programmes, apprenticeships, and community-focused learning, GMP supports both professional development and wider public engagement. Their membership will strengthen the network by linking education with real-world skills, leadership, and community impact.”
Julie Blundell, Quality Assurance & Governance Manager at GMP said: “We are delighted to be joining the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN), one of the UK’s largest and most influential networks of learning and skills providers. Becoming a member offers a valuable opportunity to collaborate with over 120 training providers, access expert guidance, and stay informed through regular updates from key stakeholders such as DfE, Ofsted, Skills England and GMCA. We look forward to contributing to the network, sharing best practices, and benefiting from the extensive support and resources available, including access to webinars, sector updates, and the chance to influence the future of skills development across Greater Manchester and beyond.”
