The Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN), in partnership with Manchester: A UNESCO City of Lifelong Learning, is delighted to announce the appointment of Sally Green, Head of Specialist Provision at Tameside College, as the new Chair of the SEND Exchange.

GMLPN Exchanges are collaborative initiatives that bring together education and training providers across Greater Manchester. Facilitated by GMLPN, the SEND Exchange provides a dedicated space for sharing best practice, exploring challenges, and developing collective approaches to supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Sally Green, Head of Specialist Provision at Tameside College, said:
“I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Chair of the SEND Exchange. This group plays a vital role in bringing providers together to share practice, learn from one another and work collectively to improve outcomes for learners with SEND across Greater Manchester. I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundations already in place and supporting continued collaboration across the network.”

GMLPN welcomes Sally’s appointment and looks forward to working closely with her to drive forward this important agenda.

Charlotte Jones, Head of Operations at GMLPN, commented:
“SEND provision is central to creating inclusive learning environments across Greater Manchester. Sally brings a wealth of experience and passion for supporting learners with SEND, and we’re thrilled to have her lead this Exchange. Together, we’ll continue to strengthen collaboration and ensure SEND remains a priority across the network.”
