Experience
Main role as a lecturer was to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and deliver quality formative and summative learning and assessment both in the classroom or as homework in order to monitor student progress, so that learners are inspired to succeed and able to reach their full potential. I consistently reflected on my own practice, including teaching, learning and assessment, and I reviewed and implemented ways in which the students’ learning experience could be improved.
Classes included a diverse range of students with Education Health Care (EHC) plans so I supported SEND in the classroom by tailoring the lessons and resources accordingly to ensure learning barriers enabling students to thrive in my lesson. I maintained a consistent and positive approach to behaviour and ensured any observations and reports were completed to record individual student progress.
