The Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN), in partnership with Manchester: A UNESCO City of Lifelong Learning, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Day, Director of Operations at DH Associates Ltd, as the new Chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Exchange.

GMLPN Exchanges are a collaborative initiative designed to bring together education and training providers across Greater Manchester. Facilitated by GMLPN, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Exchange provides a dedicated space for sharing best practice, exploring challenges, and developing collective approaches to supporting the wellbeing of staff and learners across the network.

Kate Day, Director of Operations at DH Associates Ltd, said:
“I am honoured to have been appointed as Chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Exchange. The promotion of positive mental health and wellbeing across the network is so important and I look forward to working collaboratively with members to build on the momentum already built. Together, we will continue to share best practice, strengthen understanding and ensure that the wellbeing of learners, staff, and providers remains a priority across the GMLPN.”

GMLPN welcomes Kate’s appointment and looks forward to working closely with her to drive forward this important agenda.

Charlotte Jones, Head of Operations GMLPN, commented:
“Mental health and wellbeing are fundamental to creating safe, inclusive, and thriving environments in Further Education. Kate has supported us already through our Mental Health Exchange and our work on Menopause in the workplace, so we’re delighted to welcome her as the chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Exchange. This Exchange is a vital space for collaboration, learning, and action, and we look forward to working with Kate and our members to further embed wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.”
