The Greater Manchester Learning Providers Network – GMLPN – has launched a new website just in time for the upcoming GM Skills awards, in collaboration with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
The new website, designed and built by south Manchester based agency Instilled, features a fresh design, enhanced functionality and a more dynamic layout. The updated platform provides better visibility for GMLPN’s 120 member-strong network and highlights jobs in the Further Education (FE) sector.
Following an in-depth review of both the existing website and GMLPN’s longer-term business strategy, Instilled redesigned the website adopting a more performance-orientated theme, utilising WordPress’s native block editor for improved flexibility.
Charlotte Jones, GMLPN’s Operations Manager is delighted with this first phase of redevelopment:
“Instilled has perfectly understood our requirements. By improving the customer experience, clear messaging and enhanced navigation make it easier for users to access relevant information and submit enquiries, which is particularly important for potential new members.
“We’re also excited to launch a new dedicated members area in November to provide exclusive access to specific documents, programmes and initiatives; it will also stimulate connections and knowledge sharing across the network.”
Although the GMLPN brand (logo and green colour palette) is well-established, Instilled’s creative team have been able to evolve the brand while preserving its core identity.
Instilled’s creative director, Inness Mattinson, explains:
“By evolving the GMLPN brand, we are reinforcing GMLPN’s commitment to growth and innovation. This refreshed look strengthens member loyalty and helps attract new members. By introducing complimentary colours to our brand’s colour palette, the design has definition and clarity, adding greater depth and gravitas to the GMLPN brand.”
The new website was launched at GMLPN’s quarterly member meeting, hosted at Bolton Football Club, where the GM Skills Awards were also introduced. Entries for the awards opened on 18th September, closing at the end of February 2025 ahead of a gala celebration evening on 3rd July 2025 at Manchester Monastery.
