3D Training

Launched by Barbara Gardner Sharp, Gill Abbotts, and Rachael Davies, the company brings together 50 years of experience in the training sector. After years of discussing ways to improve the industry, they seized the opportunity to establish a training company that would offer a fresh perspective on delivering creative and high-quality training solutions.

The team comprises learning and development specialists, trainers, and partners, all hand-selected for their expertise, qualifications, extensive experience in the field, and their unique personalities.

The community provision is fully funded through 3D Training’s AEB contracts, and is delivered across the Liverpool City Region as well as non-devolved areas throughout the UK. 3D Training specialises in offering short courses to unemployed individuals and those seeking to reskill.

The tutors are particularly dedicated to supporting people who face significant barriers, including those in drug and alcohol recovery, individuals experiencing mental health challenges, or those struggling with low self-esteem and confidence issues.

The provision has been described as “life changing” by learners, service partners, and Ofsted. The delivery is fully flexible and can take place out of hours and in various community venues — essentially, wherever there is a need for training, 3D Training is ready to deliver.
