The Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN), in partnership with Manchester: A UNESCO City of Lifelong Learning, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Turner, Post-16 Lead at Manchester City Council, as the new Chair of the Safeguarding Exchange.
GMLPN Exchange’s are a collaborative initiative designed to bring together education and training providers across Greater Manchester. Facilitated by GMLPN, the Safeguarding Exchange provides a vital platform for practitioners to share best practices, address emerging safeguarding challenges, and strengthen the safeguarding culture across the region.
Anthony Turner, Post-16 Lead at Manchester City Council, said:
“I am very much looking forward to stepping into the Chair role for the GMPLN Safeguarding Exchange, and look forward to championing collaboration, innovation and sharing practice with the aim of providing support to members and improving the safeguarding support offer for those attending provision across the region.”
GMLPN welcomes Anthony’s appointment and looks forward to working closely with him to drive forward this important agenda.
