Last week, members came together for our first Quality Exchange of the year to unpack early experiences of the new Ofsted inspection framework. Providers shared what the revised process really looks like in practice – from the new report cards and grading scale to how Inclusion is now inspected as a graded area.
We also heard firsthand reflections from System People and Bury Adult Learning, including what contributed to System People becoming the first FE provider to achieve Exceptional under the new framework.
Key themes emerging nationally include strengthened expectations around inclusion, data confidence, leadership, and the pivotal role of the new planning call.
This is just a snapshot.
