“We are delighted to become a member of the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network and look forward to working collaboratively with fellow members to strengthen education and skills across the region.
At International Business College Manchester, we are committed to widening participation in higher education and creating opportunities for learners from Greater Manchester, across the UK, Europe and wider international communities. We believe that higher education should be accessible to everyone with the ambition and potential to succeed. Through Student Finance England funding, together with flexible entry routes that recognise both prior qualifications and relevant work experience, we are helping more people progress into higher education and build successful careers.
As a college in the community, for the community, our focus is on preparing students for the future workforce. We work closely with employers to ensure our Business and Computing programmes develop the technical knowledge, professional skills and workplace behaviours that local industries need. Our students benefit from employability training, work experience opportunities, employer-led projects, interview preparation and careers guidance, equipping them with the confidence and experience to secure meaningful employment and progress within their chosen professions.
We are also keen to strengthen partnerships with further education providers across Greater Manchester. By working with colleges delivering Business and Computing qualifications up to Level 3, we can provide clear and accessible progression routes onto Higher Technical Qualifications, Level 4 & Level 5 and degree-level study. This enables learners to continue their educational journey without unnecessary barriers while supporting our FE partners in offering defined progression opportunities for their students.
We look forward to working with GMLPN members to expand opportunities for learners, support employers with the skills they need, and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive skills and employment landscape across Greater Manchester.”
