Our Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.

The Role
This role combines elements of marketing, market intelligence, and bid management processes. Responsible for enhancing SEO and copywriting, gathering and analysing labour market statistics, reviewing and feeding back on local and regional skills improvement plans, and assisting developing comprehensive bid responses. We are searching for a candidate who has a passion for market information, data and writing.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based in Middleton, although hybrid and remote working will also be considered.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Assist in the development and preparation of bids, ensuring compliance with bid requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information and support for bid submissions.
- Maintain and organise bid documentation, ensuring all files are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Review, proof and edit bid content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and a high standard of quality.
- Manage and update bid library, templates, and records to streamline future bid processes.
- Gather and analyse labour market statistics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges across the Mantra Group industries (including supply chain).
- Produce detailed reports and presentations on market intelligence findings, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Create compelling, high-quality content for various marketing materials, including websites, blogs, newsletters, emails and social media.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and enhance user engagement.
- Monitor and report on website and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE A - C or equivalent in maths and English.
- Degree-level qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, including Business Administration, Politics, Economics, English Language preferred.
- Strong MS Office experience with excellent Microsoft Office skills. HTML/CSS skills would be an advantage.
- A demonstrable understanding of funding streams and a knowledge of the variation of contracts available across funded and commercial provision.
- An understanding of procurement law, best-practices and processes and experience of procurement portals and platforms.
