…Greater Manchester & Cheshire Vocational Education and Training Professional Exchange Event

he GM and Cheshire VET Professional Exchange Project has engaged with over 120 teachers, tutors, managers and leaders across the FE sector. The forums provide free CPD opportunities, which allow participants to be actively involved in sharing ideas, resources and expertise. 

The event will bring together the participants of the nine Professional Exchanges, those who may want to get involved and those with a wider interest in the project, to celebrate and demonstrate the vast amount of activity taken place so far and to forward plan for the next few events. Providers are welcome to have several staff, from various roles attending. All benefit from the keynote speaker and participating in the themed discussions.

We are delighted to announce that Bev Barlow, Senior HMI at Ofsted will be joining us and informing participants of latest key inspection updates and how and where the activity of the Professional Exchanges aligns with the Common Inspection Framework.

During the morning there will be themed discussions around the following topics:
– Equality and Diversity
– Learner Recruitment and Progression
– Improving Quality
– Delivering Digital Standards
– English and Maths
– Effective Employer Involvement,
– Assessment to Training
– Making Work Placements Work
– New and Growing Training Providers.

The conference will support practitioners/professionals by providing an opportunity to:

– Network, exchange ideas, resources and knowledge with peers across the Professional Exchange groups
– Access latest sector information, knowledge and updates

– Those interested in becoming a participant of any of the 9 groups
